I will meet you at Heritage Landing at 2:00pm. I recommend having your waders on and fishing gear ready so we can maximize your first afternoon on the water.

What’s an average day of steelheading?
Of course, this is a tough one to answer… Angler ability, water conditions, weather conditions all play a role. That said, on average my guests get two to four opportunities a day. It’s not unusual to have bigger days, -And like all steelhead rivers we have a few slower days. An average fish is about 5 to 7 pounds. -My biggest to date with a client is 29 pounds.
Is there cell coverage on the river?
There is limited cell coverage on the river… Don’t expect to have the ability to conduct business. Verizon has the most coverage although there are a few spots where AT&T and Sprint get reception.
Can I keep fish?
You may retain hatchery steelhead only. However, we are very limited on cooler space so most folks will either bring a cooler with blocks of ice or hope to get one on their final morning.
